Our luxury lodge with private hot tub is built for a couple's break — a quiet, self-contained retreat where the hot tub is yours alone and the view through the doors is open countryside, not the back of the next building. The pace is whatever you make it: lazy mornings with the doors open, a slow soak as the sun dips, and a glass of something cold within arm's reach the whole time.

Inside, the lodge has everything you need for a short stay without feeling like a hotel room. The double bed is properly made up with quality linen, complimentary robes and slippers are waiting, and the mini kitchen handles breakfasts, light meals and the all-important morning coffee. The lounge has TV and Wi-Fi if you want them, underfloor warmth if you don't.

Where you'll find us

The lodges sit just outside Bubwith in the East Riding of Yorkshire — peaceful countryside, easy parking, and roughly 25 minutes from York city centre by car. You're well placed for a day in town (the Shambles, the Minster, riverside dinners) and equally well placed to do absolutely nothing for two days.
